Views From the Saddle: An evergrowing permanent collection of the finest equine art

Views from the Saddle', India's first equine-art show, opened at Bangalore in January 2010 at the PhotoIndiaGallery. Encouraged by the tremendous response we decided to make this into a permanent collection and remain focussed on getting even more of horses on our walls! The collection focuses on the grace and the glory of man’s oldest companion, the horse and goes across mediums, encompassing various disciplines of art, ranging from traditional oil paintings and photography on one end and watercolors and traditional Indian miniature art on the other. The highlight of the show is a collection of fine art photos of horses by internationally acclaimed photographer, Norm Clasen, who is considered the doyen of Equine Photography. We are planning to take the collection to Delhi and Mumbai in the next few months.
